At approximately 200 km, the Rhine Castle Trail leads through a unique cultural landscape from the Rolandsbogen near Remagen to the Mäuseturm tower near Bingen. Along the way, you'll experience the Rhenish Slate Mountains in their many facets, pass through the Ahr Valley, one of Germany's northernmost wine-growing regions, and admire the world's largest cold-water geyser in Andernach. From here, the route continues to Koblenz, the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The Rhine Castle Trail follows the entire World Heritage valley and leads hikers on the left bank of the Rhine to Bingen.
