The “Rheinsteig Trail” from Boppard to Braubach

Your tour guide will collect you at 9.30 a.m. at the arranged meeting point. To begin with, you will walk along the Rhine promenade to the Boppard ferry, which will take you over to the right banks of the Rhine. In Filsen, you will take the path leading to the Rheinsteig. You will enjoy numerous viewpoints on your way. The trail leads you into various little valleys and you will have to overcome many uphill and downhill climbs. Slowly but surely, you will approach the Marksburg Castle. A guided tour of the castle is an absolute highlight. After that, you can rest and take some refreshments and/or a meal at the castle’s restaurant. The downward trail to the boat landing stage in Braubach is another small challenge to be overcome, but you will be rewarded by the picturesque boat trip back to Boppard. Arriving in Boppard, you have the opportunity of taking part in a wine-tasting.

The tour takes approx. 8 hours including breaks and has a medium rate of difficulty.

Price of tour: 220 € for groups up to 25 participants
Ferry crossing: 2 per person (rate as at 2021)
