Diversion / route closure on Welterbesteig, RheinBurgenWeg and Traumschleife Marienberg

Attention!

Due to earth wasps in the path on the section between the Burgenblick and Steinerer Mann viewpoints (KM 9/10 of TS Marienberg), the hiking route is closed and rerouted in both directions via the Eisenbolz. The danger point cannot be avoided. The diversion is signposted.  Status 10.07.2025

The first certificate for ecosystem services according to FSC criteria in Germany goes to the Boppard City Forest.

On the Marienberg Dream Loop, the hiking trail between Friedenskreuz and Kaufmann's Ruh now runs along the farm track on the Eisenbolz Plateau.
