Guided Tour Museum 

In its more than hundred-year history in the Electoral Castle, our museum has seen many changes. One of the most extensive was the refurbishment after the restoration of the building. With its history, this now forms one of the new focal points - the castle becomes an exhibition object. In the town history section, excerpts from the history of Boppard in the late Middle Ages and early modern times are presented.

Our extensive collection of bentwood furniture also tells the story of Michael Thonet, a local son who started as a craftsman with an idea and created a global company.
